Pilates Play (1181) In this Pilates session we focus on the core ... recognising that the core goes far beyond just your abs. This is about creating stability and fluidity through your centre, shoulders and hips.

The Functional Core (1144)

The Functional Core (1144) What is a functional core? One that is strong but has the capacity to soften. A functional core acts as a stable container from which we can create clear peripheral movement. And, beyond simply offering a stable container, a functional core is also capable of fluid, controlled movement.

This 40 minute session focuses on developing core strength AND the capacity to soften.

Pelvic Floor Connections (1171)

Pelvic Floor Connections (1171) In this session we're going to use breath and movement to explore our connections with the pelvic floor and gently work to both strengthen and intentionally release effort in these muscles. We talk about the relationship between the breathing diaphragm and pelvic floor and exploring/reintroducing the reflexive tone in this area.

Roll Roll Roll Your Body (1159) In this session we focus on functional core strength. We play with cross body, front body and back body strength, and bring it all together with some rolling - which is the functional core move of them all!
